This is what’s on my worrisome mind today:
The holidays are rushing in, and I’m stressed! What are my grown kids planning? When I ask, they both say – “I don’t know yet.” If they want to celebrate here, what should dinner be? The same ole’ menu? Or try something new?
Do we want to go away instead? Not cheap, either way!
And then there are the gifts.
I got the idea this morning to ask my hubby and kids if they’d rather share holiday experiences than gifts.I haven’t asked yet.
Experience Ideas:
- A holiday concert or play
- A weekend trip to a town that really does the holidays up right!
- A holiday train ride
- A day trip to an amazing town
- Any other ideas will be much appreciated!
Oh, and I haven’t even thought of New Year’s Eve yet. My daughter lives at home, but she is 18 now. Wow, I don’t know if this is helping me or not! Too much to ehink about all at once. I can’t survive without lists. I think it’s time to make one. Actually, one for each holiday.
